At the end of this course delegates will be able to use their IWB confidently and will be able to use all the available tools imaginatively when creating resources for their pupils with SEN. They will know where to obtain additional resources and software that work well on their IWB and will find out how to incorporate all their existing software when using their boards.
The aims of the course are to: • ensure all delegates can use all the available tools in their whiteboard software • enable delegates to make their own resources (incorporating a range of imaginative approaches) • look at the use of IWBs in schools and identify ways to adapt the tools and technology to successfully accommodate and build upon the strengths of pupils with a variety of SENs • examine examples of good practice and identify practical ideas to suite the needs of pupils in an inclusive setting • look at resources available to support learning.
