This highly interactive course will give delegates an opportunity to explore in detail the practical aspects of approaching 'the global dimension and sustainable development' cross curricular dimension.

The tutor will conduct an examination of the context and the scope of this dimension and its components - before looking at a range of available resources, provocations and starting points for explorations. This will be followed by an exploration of some of the methodological implications and innovative opportunities that exist. You will have hands-on demonstrations of specific teaching techniques that are useful when approaching this area of learning with pupils with an eye to how work in the global dimensions can also help to address the six PLTS skills and the development of critical and creative thinking.
