Delegates will understand why and how the FEAR OF MATHS can develop; also how it impinges on secondary students' maths learning, self-esteem and achievement in other aspects of the curriculum.

Delegates will develop strategies to use within the maths classroom to help students overcome this FEAR and achieve qualifications in GCSE maths. Delegates will also be made aware of additional resources specifically designed with these students in mind.
