This programme will give you everything you need to know about Safeguarding at a basic level - you will understand why Safeguarding is such an important issue in Colleges and Community Education.

We will be covering the four main areas of Safeguarding, namely the background to the Safeguarding agenda, defining abuse, how to recognise the signs of abuse, and most importantly, what to do if you think abuse has taken place. By the end of the course, you'll have the tools you need to work in a Safeguarding context, and feel more confident in addressing issues around Safeguarding and abuse.
