This 11-16 course for all who teach RE will enable teachers to explore ways in which the subject promotes attitudes of respect and your school's role in developing cohesive communities. Numerous practical strategies to develop pupils' skills and attitudes in interesting ways will be provided and the focus on linking RE to respect for all will be supported by units of work to take away.
Delegates who attend this course will receive numerous examples of excellence in RE's role in promoting respect for all and community cohesion. Teachers will be enabled to improve the teaching of many different religions through imaginative approaches that offer opportunities for developing attitudes of tolerance, sensitivity and respect, and a wide range of learning styles.
