Personal well-being helps young people embrace  change, feel positive about who they are and enjoy  healthy, safe, responsible and fulfilled lives.  Learning and undertaking activities in personal wellbeing  contributes to the national outcomes of Every  Child Matters for all young people to become:
  * Successful learners who enjoy learning, make progress and achieve
  * Confident individuals who are able to live safe, healthy and fulfilling lives
  * Responsible citizens who make a positive contribution to society.
  
  On this course you will learn more about the  curriculum opportunities being offered in the new  QCA programme of study for personal well-being:  They are intended to support schools in developing  coherent whole-school approaches to personal,  social, health and economic well-being  (PSHE). They also provide a context for  schools to fulfil their legal responsibilities.
  The aims of the course are to:
  * Understand the importance of creating a safe and productive learning environment in which to deliver PSHE Education
  * Understand the five QCA key concepts of personal well being
  * Examine the three QCA key processes essential to pupils learning and progression in PSHE Education
  * Practice some methodologies for delivering the personal well-being elements of PSHE Education
