Self-evaluation plays a crucial role in shaping both the inspection and school improvement processes in PRUs. The role of the PRU headteacher or manager is pivotal in ensuring that this procedure is both robust and reliable when making accurate and secure evaluations in relation to improvement planning.
This one-day training course will provide effective models of self-evaluation and focus upon how they can successfully inform school improvement. It will also demonstrate how a self-supported school review (SSSR) model can provide an external perspective on aspects of the school, present a practical opportunity for professional development and provide external validation of the school’s self-evaluation.
