The course focuses on developing dynamic and effective assessment strategies for AS/A2 performing arts and drama courses. In order to facilitate this - It will investigate a range of strategies to develop student ownership of the learning, independent professional attitudes and dynamic methods of capturing assessment that enhances knowledge and skills rather than simply documenting the process. There will be an exploration of how to promote an authentic vocational experience for the learners as a means of generating practical and written work that genuinely integrates theory in practice and vice versa. Through this process teachers will have a clearer understanding of how they can assist learners in producing vibrant portfolios and written documents that accurately reflect the performance or production process.
