This course is aimed at assisting new teachers of music in developing good practice in the classroom. Classroom management, behaviour management and lesson planning will be a particular focus of the day. Delegates will be given a range of resources that they can take back to the classroom and adapt into their lesson plans.
Examples of good practice at KS3 and KS4 will be explored and starting points for composition, performance and listening will also be discussed. A valuable day for all new practitioners in the music classroom.
