We all know time to digest and consolidate change of any kind is at a premium within a school setting. As a busy member of staff in an Art and Design department you will of course have awareness of changes in your subject. These changes are hugely significant and far-reaching. The government want to see all students place more emphasis on skills and learning and life. One of the aims of the new curriculum is to create more successful learners.

Aims of the course are to:
* Raise awareness of rationale and changes in Art & Design from year 7 onwards
* Planning assignments with a local flavour
* Implementation of AfL strategies in assignments
* Diploma: understanding step by step
