This course will inform delegates on how to maximise their students' performance at AS/A2 in ICT examinations. The decision as to which course to teach - and subsequent approaches used by teaching staff - is crucial to the motivation and success of students. Delegates will benefit from having a clarity of direction and purpose which can be transmitted to their students.
The aims of the course are to:
* Examine the choice of courses available at post-16, both vocational and academic
* Understand the broad requirements of such courses
* Explore the differences between examination boards in GCE courses
* Develop successful strategies in the preparation, assessment and marking of the work.
