For most delegates this will be the first time that they have  learned about grammar in their own language (rather than  through French, German or Spanish studies). Delegates will  learn about how language study has changed in the last 30  years, and is now concerned with exploring and probing,  rather than being focused on 'rules' and 'correctness'.
  Teachers will be shown how to introduce this area of learning  into their classroom enabling, in turn, their students to be  more aware of language and to take greather control of it in  their writing. Teachers will also have another way of  supporting their learners in analysing texts. It will change the  way language is talked about in English lessons.
