The work of Learning Mentors presents unique management challenges. Managing a team of nonteaching practitioners in a continuously developing service requires diplomacy, pragmatism and a good awareness of existing educational culture.
It is therefore essential that the people who manage Learning Mentor teams are equipped with the skills and knowledge required to meet these challenges. This course provides practical strategies for improving management practices.
