Delegates will develop a secure knowledge and  understanding of the purpose and process of the  revised arrangements for performance management.  They will have raised awareness of the professional  nature of performance review including the  importance of building ownership, of securing trust, of  giving support and agreeing challenge. They will have  raised competence in writing performance objectives,  in gathering evidence including classroom observation  and in delivering positive developmental reviews of  objectives and performance. They will gain confidence  in making recommendations about professional  development and pay progression. They will be aware  of the implications of the revised Professional  Standards for Teachers, developed by the  TDA.
