The course will focus on the achievement of A and A* grades at GCSE. The tutor will provide a framework for course planning and explore lesson plans that stretch and challenge the most able in Drama.

The course will include both practical work and assessment criteria for exploration of drama, plays texts and the practical examination. During the day delegates will experience a variety of approaches that have been successful in enabling students to achieve the top grades. Delegates will also be given opportunities to examine the criteria for written responses and the evaluation of live theatre.
