The new GCSE course in English Language and Literature will be taught for the first time from September 2010. Teachers of English must both support and challenge their pupils whilst at the same time providing a stimulating learning experience to enable pupils to reach their potential.

This one day course will offer guidance to delegates to deal effectively with the new courses, under the leadership of a national figure in English examining. The course will be a mixture of guidance, workshop activities and opportunities for teachers to discuss best practice.

It will also be invaluable for teachers approaching the last year of the legacy specification for AQA.
