This course will add to delegates' confidence in  developing teaching and learning structures within  the framework of the controlled assessment and  subject knowledge & theory examinations at GCSE.  The programme will involve delegates in  establishing 'best fit' for what makes a successful  scheme of work and will examine ideas, while  formulating others, about how to create a  programme of study which is both challenging and  accessible for students.
  The course is not board-specific and will include  examples of good practice, plus an assessment of  current examination requirements with consideration  of practical strategies that aim to improve  understanding, target setting and techniques for  engaging and motivating students in independent  activity.
