After spending the day in a hands-on workshop, delegates will have a mixture of samples of Batik and Shibori. Each will understand how the technique is created, how to push the idea and best ways to teach their students.

Each technique uses many layers of wax, ink and fabric and delegates will be given helpful hints into quick and easy ways to achieve these. The course will also consider how to inspire all students with both 2D and 3D ideas. Teachers will be tutored in creating both abstract and realistic artwork as samples, and discover how they can bring such powerful techniques into the classroom.
