This stimulating set of workshops will provide approaches to learning for pupils at KS3 based on the development of their musical understanding through a practical engagement with music.

We will explore a range of learning strategies to raise motivation, attitude and skill acquisition. This includes consideration of new teaching strategies that teachers/leaders/coaches need to take on to effectively implement these models.

These tried and tested ideas are simple and effective. They seek to motivate and engage all our young people and can be used immediately in the classroom, enabling teachers to build on the practice that is most relevant to their own setting.
