With more students required to do MFL as a result of the E-Bac, ensuring that their study of languages in Key Stage 4 is a positive experience is crucial. This course will help teachers make the case for languages, develop learner focused contexts and create units of work that will interest students.

It will consider strategies to develop confidence and independence and help students to be more involved in their learning. The course will consider GCSE specifications and how the topics can be looked at differently as well as how controlled assessment can be an advantage.

The course is appropriate for all GCSE awarding organisations and all laguages-although examples provided will be in French, German and Spanish.
