The course will introduce delegates to the concepts and skills of digital storytelling. By the end of the day delegates will have created their own 2-5 minute digital story and, in doing so, will have a comprehensive understanding of how digital storytelling can be used in schools and colleges to motivate and engage students and enhance their opportunities for learning and expression.

Delegates will learn how to create and combine narrative, still images and music to create a short film and will be guided through the technical and presentation skills needed to produce their digital story. They will learn how these techniques can be applied in the classroom and extended to provide additional opportunities for students.
