Non-Specialist teachers of workshop/design studio  based Design Technology, who would like to improve  confidence in their personal classroom abilities - to  enable them to plan and organise their lessons and  approaches for teaching designing and making in  resistant and semi-resistant materials in schools.
  Delegates will examine the importance of making every  lesson engaging and motivational and discuss  techniques for achieving this. This course builds on  delegates' existing and emerging success in the  classroom - encouraging small, but pivotal changes in  teaching matter and learning through AfL and  formative assessment of pupil performance to improve  their organisation of teaching and learning in Design  Technology.
