The course will consider the implications of the new secondary curriculum for music at Key Stage 3. It will consider the many opportunities it offers to music teachers to revitalise the curriculum in their schools.

The course will draw on guidance provided by QCDA in placing music within the wider educational agenda and will draw on case studies of innovative practice to inspire and motivate teachers to develop the music curriculum in their own schools.
