This course will provide a wealth of ideas and resources to help you motivate learners (including lower achievers, the gifted and talented, as well as those with varied learning styles) through creativity, controversy and spirituality. Numerous practical strategies to develop pupils' skills in interesting ways will be provided - and the focus on linking RE to expressive arts will be supported by units of work to take away.
Delegates who attend this course will receive numerous examples of excellence in creative and imaginative RE, ready to use in the classroom. Examples of pupils' work that show key ways in which RE can motivate and inspire better learning through creativity will be presented; and the links between creativity, motivation and setting high standards will be explained. After the course teachers will feel confident to freshen up their teaching of many different religions through imaginative approaches and cater to a wide range of learning styles.
