The course will familiarise delegates with the procedures for completing the Common Assessment Framework (CAF) which arose from the 2004 Children Act and the Every Child Matters Agenda which resulted from this legislation.
The course will help delegates to know when it is appropriate to instigate the CAF process, how to complete the CAF form and to understand the role of the Lead Professional in the CAF process. Delegates will have the opportunity to discuss case studies and the rationale for Multi-Agency/Integrated Services Working. Protocols for Information Sharing will also be addressed along with the relationship between CAF and the Contact Point.
