The course will help art teachers identify gifted and talented pupils in their subject and help them make the most of both departmental and external resources to ensure that all their pupils are sufficiently stretched and inspired.

Talent can be difficult to measure and test accurately and the tutor will offer guidance on how best to achieve this. Delegates will also benefit from a practical session on how to write assignments that differentiate between the average pupil and the Gifted and Talented student and yet satisfy both.
