This course will be of interest to teachers who are excited by the challenge of stimulating the learning experience of exceptionally able students who are gifted in English. The tutor will explore the criteria for identifying gifted students against a background of international research. During the day delegates will have an opportunity to share examples of English work by gifted students and to discuss the use of AfL strategies to develop talent.
