The promotion of equal opportunity and equality and  diversity are fundamental requirements of the  Evaluation Schedule for Schools and Common  Inspection Framework 2009 respectively, with both  being limiting grades (i.e. an outcome of 'Inadequate'  for equal opportunity for schools and equality and  diversity for colleges is likely to result in an outcome of  'Inadequate' for Overall Effectiveness for both).
  
  Embedding equal opportunity and equality and  diversity at curriculum level is one way to demonstrate  active promotion of both principles. This workshop will  draw on research from higher education and consider  practical methods to embed equal opportunity and  equality and diversity within and around the Business  curriculum without forcing the fit and focus on  evidencing impact in self assessment/evaluation  documents.
